Carmike Cinemas, Inc. (NASDAQ: CKEC), a leading DIGITAL cinema and 3-D motion picture exhibitor and Cinema Scene Marketing, one of the nation’s leading providers of in theater digital signage solutions, announced today the launch of the initial phase of Carmike’s conversion to Digital Menu Boards (DMBs) across the entire estate of cinema locations.
Carmike, an industry leader in digital projection for its consumers, continues to lead the exhibition community by bringing rich graphics and video merchandising to its concession stands. ”Carmike is committed to providing the Ultimate Movie Going experience. Cinema Scene will provide the installation, content management and ongoing software servicing. When fully deployed, Cinema Scene will manage approximately 2,200 individual displays across the 245 Carmike locations. Cinema Scene’s deployment teams have been working with Carmike management to finalize the deployments of hardware and software. Upon installation, Cinema Scene will transition to designing new creative and managing all ongoing price changes and promotions.
