GSMI is pleased to announce that Cindy Rodoni, President and Carla Di Castro, past President of ISM-NC will be speaking at the IT Sourcing and Procurement Summit (ITSPS) this August 21-22 at the Marines’ Memorial Club in San Francisco.
Carla Di Castro and Cindy Rodoni will be co-presenting the session entitled, "Balancing Risk & Reward: Motivation Driving Decisions and How to Leverage for Improved Results" which will address information regarding vendor management, value alignment and how to optimize supply management. Together, they will provide case studies on how to obtain the best value and balance budget, timeline, quality and security risk/safety. Attendees will walk away with a better grasp of how to get the best value for strategic sourcing.
Carla Di Castro currently serves as Executive Advisor to ISM-NC and Director of Strategic Sourcing at McKesson with responsibilities for Software, Hardware and Consulting Services. Carla oversees a broad range of global sourcing initiatives, contract negotiation, strategic sourcing, and supplier/vendor management programs. She has worked across industries such as Energy/ Oil & Gas, Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods, Entertainment, Health Care/Pharmaceutical and Information Technology and worked as a consultant in procurement/supply management on large projects with Fortune 500 Companies.
Cynthia (Cindy) Rodoni, CPSM, C.P.M currently serves as President of ISM-NC and is an IT Strategic Sourcing Consultant at McKesson Corporation in San Francisco. During her career Cindy was one of a handful of women in senior leadership at the world’s largest Japanese semiconductor manufacturer, responsible for Real Estate, Procurement, Operations and Business Development teams in a successful telecommunications start-up and worked inside the halls of Congress on Capitol Hill. She began her diverse career consistently exceeding sales targets before opening a series of stores for a rapidly growing retail chain then moving into the corporate office of another leading retailer to assist in designing a state of the art merchandise allocation system.
