TestPort contains features that allow testing and monitoring any port within your network. It is packaged in a light, durable hand-held chassis that can be easily transported anywhere. The unit is battery powered, which makes it more convenient to simply connect into the desired ports without having to worry about clumsy power cables. Finally, its screen is viewable under any lighting conditions, even in complete darkness.
Multiple protocols are supported, including Gigabit Ethernet (GbE), 10 Gigabit Ethernet, PTP, and Synchronous Ethernet (SyncE). Each module runs at full line rate, so traces are capture in their entirety and no bit is ever missed. Results are viewable on the screen, or are downloadable in Wireshark format for offline analysis.
