Datacratic Expands Operations to New York City and Adds Three New Senior Team Members
New York, NY (PRWEB) August 06, 2013 -- Datacratic, a software company that applies machine learning and predictive modeling to real-time data generated from consumer behavior, today announced the addition of three senior team members and the opening of its office in New York City.
Joining Datacratic is Alex Becker, Head of Product Management , Mark Weiss, Head of Client Solutions and Sales Engineering and Philippe Gauvin, Head of Account Management and Customer Experience.

Alex Becker, who will lead Datacratic’s Product Management function, worked most recently as Sr. Director of Media Strategy and Analytics at data management platform [x+1]. He’s a marketing strategist with over ten years of experience developing and implementing the analytics function for digital advertising platforms. His specialties include marketing optimization, campaign management, ad exchanges and bid management - making Datacratic an ideal fit. Previously, Alex had worked at IBM and Research In Motion.
Mark Weiss will head up Datacratic’s Client Solutions and Sales Engineering team. Mark has more than 15 years experience as a software engineer and engineering team leader and will work directly with clients integrating Datacratic’s unique machine learning and optimization products. He was previously VP of Engineering at search retargeting company Magnetic and prior to that was Associate Director of Architecture at Wireless Generation.
Both Mark and Alex will be based at Datacratic’s New York office.
Philippe Gauvin will lead Datacratic’s Account Management and Client Experience team and will be based at the company's Montreal office. Philippe is an experienced start-up entrepreneur and was previously founder of matchFWD, a recruiting platform using NLP and social data to connect employers with candidates. He has a B.Sc. from Université Laval in Software Engineering and spent the last 12+ years in software engineering and product management roles. Philippe has previously worked with the Yellow Pages Group, Bentley Systems and BroadSign.
