Level Homes Helps Alleviate Recent Increase in Interest Rates by Offering Sweet Rewards Campaign
(PRWEB) August 08, 2013 -- From now until August 31, 2013, homebuyers in Baton Rouge can earn up to $6,000 on a special collection of Level Homes. Out of the 20 homes that qualify, only 8 homes remain for this collection intended to offset the recent increase in interest rates.
In June, Level Homes launched the ‘Use As You Choose Program’ through the Sweet Rewards Promotion, which allows the homebuyer to choose how the $6,000 is structured. It may include either upgrades on amenities or closing costs. For this and other reasons, Jennifer Williamson of Keller Williams Realty First Choice thinks this is the time to buy.
“Interest rates just went up in June, but even so, they’re still remarkably low,” said Williamson who has sold more than 60 homes this year alone, including 52 homes built by Level Homes.
But time is certainly of the essence. According to the Baton Rouge Business Report, the latest monthly housing report from the Greater Baton Rouge Association of Realtors (GBRAR) contains just about everything local realtors like to see: increasing sales, a rising average sales price and less than six months of inventory. GBRAR President, Pat Wattam, says she expects declining inventory and rising interest rates to keep sales and prices on the rise in coming months.
“Homes in the Sweet Rewards communities of Dutchtown Gardens and Willow Pointe have already been completely sold out,” said Briggs Napier, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Level Homes.
Of the eight homes remaining, Sweet Rewards Homes can be found in Manchac Harbor, one of Baton Rouge’s most affordable communities near Interstate 42. Many of the amenities include large homesites, giving the buyer a better value for their dollar.
Another community that qualifies for Sweet Rewards is Copper Mill in Zachary. This golf course community, minutes from downtown, boasts one of the best school districts in the state and is one of few developments in the area available at a price point of $299,000.
“These communities are already a tremendous value, but when you take into account the value of our Sweet Rewards campaign, it becomes a deal that’s hard to pass up,” said Napier.
