Allentown, PA (PRWEB) August 08, 2013 -- Taminco BVBD has appointed Bill Rouse as national accounts manager. A chemist himself, Rouse brings his nearly 25 years of experience to Taminco.
Most recently, Rouse served as Accounts Manager for Air Products, where he successfully managed a seven-state territory to consistent sales growth.
Rouse said he was excited about the opportunity to work with Taminco because of the company’s vision – and especially its people.
“Taminco is a very smartly integrated company,” he explained. “It’s the world’s largest amines company – with truly global experts in the business. But it’s a nimble company – when someone has a great idea, they don’t waste any time making a decision.”
Over the course of 28+ years in the industry, Rouse has crossed paths with a number of his new co-workers, and says he relished the opportunity to work with them again.
“I really liked working with those folks, and I am really looking forward to working with them again,” Rouse said.
Rouse holds a pair of bachelor’s degrees – his BS is in Chemistry and his BA is in physics – from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. He holds several patents for his work in polymer development, and his diverse background spanning laboratory and field work has led to successful runs as sales trainer, research and development liaison, and national marketing manager.
“Bill really understands Taminco’s vision,” said Kurt Buyse, Taminco’s Performance Products Business Director. “Our business is people and molecules. Bill’s passion is simply to exceed customer expectations. I am looking forward to helping him do just that.”
