New Lawsuit on Defective DePuy Pinnacle Hip Implants: Now, AttorneyOne Can Provide Advice

On June 1, a Utah man filed a lawsuit in Texas Northern District Court (case no. 3:2013cv02064), alleging he suffered serious injuries from his DePuy Pinnacle hip implant. In the lawsuit, the plaintiff claims that he was implanted with the Pinnacle Hip System in 2007 and, shortly after, he began experiencing pain and complications which lead to revision surgery in 2013.
On May 24, US Judge J. Stephen Czuleger upheld the jury verdict on a lawsuit over DePuy’s ASR hip implants. As Bloomberg published on March 8, the jury ruled on whether the DePuy’s all-metal implants were defectively designed and awarded the plaintiff $8.3 million (case no. BC456086, California Superior Court).
