Leading Online Travel Agency Reveals Las Vegas to be Most Popular U.S. Destination

CheapOair announced today its most popular destinations for the upcoming Labor Day weekend based on customers’ purchase patterns year over year. While roundtrip airfare to both domestic and international destinations has increased, CheapOair data reveals there are still deals to be found for customers looking to take advantage of the long weekend.

Travel to domestic destinations remains affordable, with airfare to many top destinations seeing only a 3—4 percent increase. While airfare to Las Vegas, the most popular U.S. destination for the Labor Day Weekend, is up 24 percent, roundtrip tickets are still only $345. Flights to major cities like New York and family destinations like Orlando, up 4 percent, are only $271 and $333, respectively.

“Additionally, we expect to see several exciting international markets to see lower fares than last year, creating a compelling reason to venture abroad.”
