CheapOair Releases Most Popular Destinations for Labor Day Weekend

Travel to domestic destinations remains affordable, with airfare to many top destinations seeing only a 3—4 percent increase. While airfare to Las Vegas, the most popular U.S. destination for the Labor Day Weekend, is up 24 percent, roundtrip tickets are still only $345. Flights to major cities like New York and family destinations like Orlando, up 4 percent, are only $271 and $333, respectively.

Although prices to CheapOair’s popular international destinations saw a more significant increase this year, airfare to more exotic and inspirational destinations are not much more than a domestic ticket. Tickets to San Juan have gone up 41 percent but other destinations like San Jose Cabo saw a 16 percent decrease, with roundtrip airfare just $73 more than a ticket to Las Vegas.
