SugarCRM Gets Open Source Workflow With Advanced OpenWorkflow
London (PRWEB UK) 8 August 2013 -- SalesAgility has unveiled a number of key components to its Advanced family of SugarCRM extensions.
Advanced OpenWorkflow (AOW) for CE has a simple, elegant interface that enables non-expert users to build powerful automated processes that get the right work to the right people at the right time, repeatedly. AOW enables users to build cross-module workflows triggering advanced actions such as conditionally creating new records, modifying existing records or creating emails and scheduled calls/meetings/tasks across core and custom modules.
AOW is 100% compliant with the SugarCRM architecture, is open source and is free to download.
Advanced OpenSales (AOS) has long been the flagship of SalesAgility's Advanced family of extensions for CE. AOS delivers powerful Quotations, Products, Contracts, Invoices and PDF template modules to the Community Edition of SugarCRM. AOS is open source, has been downloaded more than 40,000 times and is the de-facto extension of choice for CE.
Price Books Per Customer and Bills of Materials are scheduled for release in the 3rd quarter of 2013.
Advanced OpenPortal (AOP) is a marriage made in open source heaven. It forges a robust integration between the leading open source Content Management System (CMS) – Joomla and the leading open source Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platform – SugarCRM.
On the Joomla side, AOP is a standard Joomla component that's architecturally compliant and uploads directly into any Joomla 2.5+ deployment. Joomla provides the web-friendly front-end into SugarCRM Cases. Users can create and update SugarCRM Cases from within Joomla, be notified of updates, view the progress of all open and closed Cases, upload files and get both user based and account based views of all related Cases.
On the SugarCRM side, there's an enhanced Cases module that simplifies the tracking of Cases and enables administrators to create and manage Portal users.
AOP is easily extensible to expose other CE modules such as Leads, Opportunities or Quotes. AOP is open source and available for download from the SalesAgility website.
