Established in 2012, the Hampton Roads Black Caucus (HRBC) encourages black men and women to participate in the community, especially in politics, to help promote justice, education and economic equality on both the local and national levels. The mission of the HRBC Political Action Committee is to encourage more members of the black community to become elected officials to help directly benefit their communities. HRBC supports a number of initiatives including encouraging black-owned business growth, increased economic development, better educational opportunities and continuing community growth. Members of the community that follow these initiatives will be provided with support from the HRBC.

Nissan of Chesapeake supports community growth in a variety of areas and hosting the HRBC Caucus Connection gives them the opportunity to support and encourage the black community and the entire community as a whole. This is just one of the many events that Nissan of Chesapeake sponsors throughout the year to help thank the community that has provided them with their success.
