In addition, he designed, created and ran a maintenance department that was responsible for providing service to local district councils and the companies to which they outsourced their support.
His other credentials include implementation of a system-wide approval scheme within a national telecom provider that reduced the timescale for the business to approve bespoke offerings that cost in excess of £1million to implement. He was also the member of a team management group that was tasked with a job evaluation project for a business of 2500 employees that had grown by acquisition. With a myriad of different job titles, job functions, pay scales and reporting lines, the team had to sort everyone into a 7 band structure that incorporated everyone from office junior to Chief Executive.
