Grand Homes Reviews Increase of Home Prices in Dallas Market

New reports reveal that Dallas home prices have shifted upwards, reaching a noteworthy high in the national housing market. Grand Homes reviews this trend and what it means for the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

As a company that operates in the Dallas-Fort Worth area—and is responsible for developing 35 communities in the region—Grand Homes reviews the metroplex as one of the greatest places to live in America. Noting the popularity of Dallas for families and young professionals, the Texas homebuilding company is not surprised by the recent reports that reveal that home prices in the areas have shifted upwards.

A recent article from The Star-Telegram explains the importance of the price increase in Dallas, “U.S. home prices jumped 12.2 percent in May compared with a year ago, the biggest annual gain since March 2006, and prices in the Dallas-Fort Worth area reached the highest level since at least 2000…Prices in Dallas and Denver reached the highest level on record dating back to 2000. That marks the first time since the housing bust that any city has reached an all-time high.”

Grand Homes reviews the evidence in its recent press statement, “These figures support what our company has been saying about the Dallas-Fort Worth area since our inception: this is exceptional place to live, to own a home and to find success. While home prices are relatively high now, we expect that those buying properties in today’s market will find that years down the road property values will continue to increase. This is a great potential, as the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex continues to attract new residents and develop more housing and businesses in the region.”

Although other recently released reports indicate that homeownership throughout the United States has declined significantly, The Star-Telegram notes, “One concern is that higher mortgage rates could slow home sales. But many economists say rates remain low by historic standards and would need to rise much faster to halt the momentum.” In addition, Grand Homes reviews the other factors that have supported the rise in home prices, especially in the Dallas area. For instance, the article explains, “Home values are rising as more people are bidding on a scarce supply of houses for sale. Steady price increases, along with stable job gains and historically low mortgage rates, have in turn encouraged more Americans to buy homes.”

“While housing supply is relatively low, it is important to focus on the trend that consumer confidence is growing. Now is a great time to buy in Dallas, so we encourage those who are troubled by short supply to consider having a new home built as an alternative,” Grand Homes reviews in its concluding statement.

Grand Homes reviews the needs of today’s homeowner and has made sure to reflect these requirements in the impressive work it produces. For more than 25 years, Grand Homes has served as a leading homebuilder in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas, region and has expanded a great deal since its creation. Offering a wide range of semi-custom home options to prospective homeowners, Grand Homes has grown immensely and currently is recognized for building approximately 400 homes a year in 35 established communities in the area.
