The La Jolla Village Merchants Association's Haute La Jolla Nights Moves to La Jolla’s Design District in August
San Diego, California (PRWEB) August 08, 2013 -- The La Jolla Village Merchants Association announces they are changing the location of Haute La Jolla Nights for the August 17th event to celebrate La Jolla’s own Design District.
Haute La Jolla Nights, which is sponsored by the Optical Shop of ASPEN, features some of San Diego’s hottest bands performing live, outdoor concerts at ten locations throughout the Village of La Jolla. Haute La Jolla Nights was launched last summer (June – September 2012) as a fun, free event to create a nighttime destination for residents and visitors to La Jolla Village.
The La Jolla Design District is comprised of over 25 home furnishings and décor businesses located on Girard Avenue from Prospect to Pearl. The La Jolla Village Merchants Association decided to move Haute La Jolla Nights further down Girard Ave. to give visibility to the many interior design shops in La Jolla Village. “We are welcoming several new and prestigious home design companies to La Jolla such as Sur la Table, Nativa Interiors, Symphony Home Décor & Design, California Closets and several others. These businesses join a host of established, but no less exciting, design shops, which comprise La Jolla’s impressive Interior Design District. We want people realize just how much La Jolla has to offer in haute fashions for the home,” stated La Jolla Village Merchants Association Executive Director, Sheila Fortune.
In addition to live music all along Girard Avenue, patrons will be able to enter a drawing to win free merchandise and gift certificates from La Jolla Hotels, restaurants and shops at the following sponsoring locations:
Adelaide’s Florists and Decorators – 7766 Girard Ave.
Puesto Mexican Street Food – 1026 Wall Street

Harry’s Coffee Shop – 7545 Girard Ave.
