Interdean Anticipates Rise in Foreign Students in the UK
(PRWEB UK) 14 August 2013 -- The article 100,000 More International Students in The Next Five Years, published 29th July in The Independent, reveals that there are already approximately half a million international students attending 163 universities and colleges in the UK, with this figure set to increase by almost 100,000. It comes as a new government report outlines plans to attract foreign students. The report also suggests that China, India, the Middle East and parts of South America are amongst the countries most expected to send higher numbers of students over.
Dedicated to assisting students with their overseas studies, Interdean specialises in a number of areas from shipping and airfreight to student storage. Naturally the team were interested by the recent news and a representative reflects on why foreign students choose to study in the UK.
“Research from the British Council, the Online Global Student Decision Making Survey, shows that the main reason students from around the world come to our higher education institutes is because of the quality of education, but also because we live in a large tolerant multi-cultural society where they feel safe and accepted. Regardless of the destination, the decision to study overseas is one that brings with it wider opportunities and experience that go beyond the qualifications received at the end of a course.”
