(PRWEB UK) 8 August 2013 -- Manchester Police have released CCTV images of a man who is alleged to have threatened bar staff in an attempted robbery in Manchester’s city centre reports the Manchester Evening News on August 5.
The incident happened on Sunday February 3 at around 4.10am, but after a lengthy investigation, detectives are now appealing for public help.
Two female staff were closing up when the man walking, made threats and demanded cash. The staff said they would go upstairs to check but instead locked themselves in and called police.
Detective Constable Anthony Strong said: “We have made a number of enquiries to trace the man responsible for this attempted robbery, which left both victims shaken up. After detailed enquiries, we now believe that the man we are looking for is the man whose images we have released.
“The pictures of him are from a nearby premises, speaking to bouncers moments before the incident.”
