JHM Hotels announces that Michael Smith has joined the company as Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He comes to JHM as an industry veteran with a proven track record having an extensive career in multi-hotel sales and marketing leadership. Most recently at Dolce Hotels & Resorts, Michael also worked with Starwood Hotels and Resorts, Richfield Hospitality, and Omni Hotels. He has expertise with strategic sales planning, advertising, e-commerce, public relations, sales deployment, revenue management, budgeting, pre-opening new build hotels and transitions/brand conversions.

Michael’s primary responsibility is for revenue generation at all JHM Hotels while supporting the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction and profitability. Michael leads the company’s Integrated Services team comprised of several Regional Directors of Sales, the Marketing group, and Revenue Management team.

Michael and his wife are relocating to Greenville from Green Oaks, Illinois. He has two daughters, and enjoys hockey, hiking, and traveling to new destinations.
