Naperville’s Newest Private Preschool to Host Grand Opening Event
Naperville, Illinois (PRWEB) August 12, 2013 -- The Gardner School of Naperville announced today that it will hold a Grand Opening celebration on Saturday, August 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at its facilities at 28 W 611 Ferry Road, Warrenville, Ill. This family-oriented event will offer kid-friendly activities and refreshments, while providing parents in the community the opportunity to meet the faculty and learn more about the preschool’s academic programs.
“As a recent addition to the Naperville community, we want to extend an open invitation to our grand opening event to all families and everyone interested in preschool education,” said Kerry Finnegan, executive school director. “We’ve had a great initial response from the community, and we’re excited to kick off the ‘Back to School’ season with a fun event for kids of all ages.”
According to Finnegan, the event will feature face painting, pony rides, snow cones and a bouncy house for the children. Light appetizers and refreshments will be served for the whole family, and the school will be inaugurated into the community with a ribbon cutting ceremony. For parents researching preschools, the leadership team and teachers will be available to share more information about the school’s curriculum, enrichment programs and daily schedule.
“Finding the right educational fit for your child isn’t always an easy process, especially when they’re this young,” said Finnegan. “You can learn a lot from a tour, an informational packet or a website, but to really get a ‘feel’ for the school you need to see your child interacting with the other students, talk with the leadership team one-on-one and meet the teachers in a more relaxed environment. We’re hoping to provide this opportunity for families at the Grand Opening celebration and other events throughout the year.”
