Transforming the Way We Help Each Other; New Platform Launched on Indiegogo
Toronto, ON (PRWEB) August 09, 2013 -- Over 65% of Canadians and 60% of Americans donate to charity every year. With the world becoming ever smaller and the global community more connected, helping your neighbour is going to be key to our success as humans.
Saad Zai, a business student at the University of Toronto, has developed a unique platform called "Causewards" to encourage people to donate, volunteer and spend more time in the community.
Causewards recently launched on Indiegogo and is here to transform the way we donate and volunteer. The main purpose of the platform is to get people active in the community and encourage the next generation to understand the responsibilities they have in terms of making this world a better place.
Saad Zai comments: "For every dollar you donate to charity gets you 2 Causewards. This is not the only way to earn Causewards. You can participate in any non-profit event provided that the organizations have signed up with us. So if you give a bus ticket to a stranger, help an elderly couple with their groceries or paint a local community centre you will earn Causewards."
Users will be able to manage their rewards, connect with other like-minded people and view stats on which countries donate the most and much more.
Saad Zai continues, "As you collect points you will get exclusive discounts from local shows, coffee shops, conservation movements around the world and much more! We are diligently working with numerous organizations and businesses so our users can benefit from it."
Users will be able to manage their rewards, connect with other like-minded people and view stats on which countries donate the most and much more.
Saad Zai is hoping to raise $385,000 in the coming month. For more details of the campaign, visit http://igg.me/at/causewards/x/3420518
