NAPUS Federal Credit Union will be attending the 2013 NAPUS (the National Association of Postmasters of the United States) National Convention from August 17th-22nd at the Hyatt Regency in Bellevue, Washington. As part of the affiliation with NAPUS, the Credit Union has been attending the convention since we have opened our doors in 1970 and provides attendees the chance to meet the staff, discuss financial opportunities, and take advantage of incredible rates and services. The Credit Union will be there not only to offer financial services to members, but also to reach out to prospective members who would like more information about the Credit Union and how it may improve a new member's financial life.
NAPUS FCU will operate a full-fledged branch at the convention, which will provide attendees the convenience of conducting transactions such as withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, and check cashing, and there is also opportunities for members to apply for signature loans, auto loans, credit cards, mortgages, and even business loans. Training sessions on services like mobile banking, internet teller, web bill pay, and e-statements will be available, and there will be informational materials on hand for anyone interested in learning more about NAPUS FCU and the products and services it offers. Attendees will also have the opportunity to win several prizes (including an iPad Mini, Kindle Fire HD, and cash) and to grab some coffee at the internet cafe.
In addition to the great services, the Credit Union is kicking off its high-yield checking account that will pay 3% on balances up to $15,000 with no minimum balance requirement. With this account, members have the convenience of e-statements (available 24 hours a day, seven days a week) as well as a free debit card. Details can be found on the NAPUS FCU website at http://www.napusfcu.org.
Attendees who are not familiar with NAPUS FCU will learn that joining the Credit Union is fast, easy, and financially beneficial. Anyone who is not eligible to join through the standard requirements, are now eligible through the Credit Union's partnership with the American Consumer Council (ACC). Joint membership allows friends, family members, co-workers, and colleagues to join the Credit Union, benefit from great rates, superior service, and information on consumer issues; the Credit Union will even process the enrollment with ACC.
