Greenberg Traurig Shareholder Nancy Taylor to Speak at National Conference of State Legislatures Health Summit
WASHINGTON D.C. (PRWEB) August 09, 2013 -- Nancy E. Taylor, co-chair of the Health & FDA Business practice group of the international law firm Greenberg Traurig LLP will speak at the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) 2013 Health Summit sponsored by the NCSL Executive Committee Task Force on Health Reform Implementation. This year’s summit titled “Emerging Changes in Medicaid & the Insurance Marketplace” will take place Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013 and Monday, Aug. 12, 2013 at the Omni Hotel at CNN Center in Atlanta, Ga.
Taylor will be a panelist speaking on employer and consumer issues relating to the new healthcare law Sunday, Aug. 11, 2013 at 3:30 p.m. The panel will also discuss requirements and potential penalties affecting employers, employees and their families. Click here to learn more about the summit.
According to its website, the NCSL is a bipartisan organization that serves the legislators and staffs of the nation's 50 states, its commonwealths and territories. It provides research, technical assistance and opportunities for policymakers to exchange ideas on the most pressing state issues. The NCSL Executive Committee provides overall direction on operations of the Conference.
Taylor has advised clients on health care related matters for more than two decades. She has broad experience in areas relating to the Affordable Care Act provisions, CMS reimbursement and policy issues relating to providers and plans, and she has done a significant amount of FDA regulatory work. Prior to joining Greenberg Traurig, she served ten years as the Health Policy Director for the Senate Committee on Labor and Human Resources.
