In April and May, Beldon LeafGuard donated $10,700 to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, and the One Fund Boston. Starting in June, they shifted their efforts toward a new fundraising campaign for the WWP. LeafGuard by Beldon is offering to give back $100 for every sale in their Maryland market, garnered from their radio spots on WMAL in Washington, D.C.

WMAL’s broadcast area includes the greater Washington D.C. and Baltimore metro area, and can be heard nationally on iHeartRadio. “So far, our Maryland offices have earned $2,100 for the Wounded Warrior Project in the month of June,” says Ryan Shutt, V.P. of Marketing for LeafGuard by Beldon. “The generosity of our customers as well as the dedication of the employees in our Maryland market is evident in the amount of responses we have seen from this campaign. We are confident that we will continue to see great results, with the promotion extending through the month of July.”

The Wounded Warrior Project was founded in 2003 as a non-profit organization whose stated mission is to honor and empower wounded warriors. They do so by raising awareness and enlisting the public’s aid for the needs of injured service members, helping injured service members aid and assist each other, and providing unique, direct programs and services to meet the needs of injured service members. “Giving back to those who serve our country means a great deal to us, and we would not be able to do so without the charitable efforts of our customers and the employees in our Maryland market. We hope to see ongoing success with this campaign through July, and know that future charitable endeavors will be possible, thanks to every valued member of the LeafGuard by Beldon family,” noted Shutt.
