CapWest Strategies Emerges as Top 10 in 2013
Houston, TX (PRWEB) August 11, 2013 -- CapWest Strategies was honored on August 6, 2013 by the Houston Minority Supplier Development Council (HMSDC) and the Houston Business Journal (HBJ) as one of the Emerging 10 businesses in Houston for their resilience and commitment to both their industry and their community.
Companies receiving this award have established themselves for their innovative approaches, community involvement, and expertise. The E-10 award recognizes the work established businesses are doing in the community and the role they play in driving economic growth in Houston.
In 2008, in the aftermath of the financial crisis, CapWest lost 90% of its billable business. The decline in demand following the recession significantly impacted the PR industry. “I worked twice as hard to keep my agency open during the financial devastation our country endured in 2008,” states Hector Carreño, CEO of CapWest Strategies, LLC. “But the hard times make these good times feel so much better,” noted Carreño.
Carreño expressed his appreciation for the award and credited hard work, initiative and a close working relationship with clients as important factors for success.
