Klinedinst Shareholder and CFO Elected Treasurer of The State Bar of California
San Diego, California (PRWEB) August 12, 2013 -- Heather Rosing, who serves as Klinedinst’s Chief Financial Officer and Chair of the firm’s Professional Liability practice group, has been elected as Treasurer of The State Bar of California. With 243,000 members, The State Bar of California is one of the largest bar associations in the nation.
Elected by the Board of Trustees, Ms. Rosing will serve a one-year term overseeing the State Bar’s budget and internal financial controls, in conjunction with the organization’s CFO. The new officers will be sworn in at the State Bar’s annual meeting in San Jose in mid-October.

Following her service as President of the San Diego County Bar Association, Ms. Rosing was elected to the State Bar's Board of Trustees in 2011. Since beginning her term, Ms. Rosing has actively participated in the Task Force on Admissions Regulation Reform, the Limited License Working Group, and several other important initiatives and studies. In the past year, she also served as Vice-Chair of the Board-level Nominations and Appointments Committee.
Ms. Rosing is not the only Klinedinst attorney to recent win a seat as treasurer. San Diego Shareholder and business litigation attorney James Crosby was recently elected by the Board of Directors to serve as Treasurer of the San Diego County Bar Association. He will be sworn in this December, and begin his one-year term starting in January of 2014.
