In April 2013, members of The SBCDSA participated in the Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) golf tournament and fundraised $400 towards substance abuse prevention and education in local Santa Barbara schools. “The group of dedicated and professional members of the Santa Barbara Sheriff’s Department and District Attorney Investigators hope to show our presence in ways more than serving and protecting the Santa Barbara County,” said Todd Johnson, secretary of the SBCDSA. “The SBCDSA is committed to giving back to the community we serve and we make it a priority to learn of the community’s concerns and needs and to connect with members of our community.”
Members of the SBCDSA continue to give back to their community not only with their service but with their philanthropic commitments. For more information about partnering with the SBCDSA or to learn more about how the SBCDSA will serve their local communities, visit sbcdsa.org.
