Pipestock are pleased to announce that within their comprehensive MDPE Pipework range, they have a new selection of MDPE Valves. MDPE is a great material used within industrial pipe systems and Pipestock are the carriers of one of the largest MDPE Pipe & Fittings ranges. MDPE Valves can be used within an MDPE Pipe Compression System for the regulation and directing of flow.

Medium Density Polyethylene (MDPE) is a variation of polyethylene defined by a density range of 0.926-0.940 g/cm3 making it a thermoplastic which is tough and flexible. MDPE has many advantages over traditional steel pipework specifically its light-weight, flexible and tough characteristics. MDPE also has smaller installation time and a good immunity to corrosion.

MDPE Pipe and Fittings provides an economically viable industrial pipe system for contractors to purchase and install, and with its good shock and drop resistance, its resistance to stress cracking and the fact that it is not notch sensitive, it is a great pipe system. Medium Density Polyethylene also has good chemical resistance and is designed to be durable in surge and fatigue conditions.

With all of these benefits in mind, MDPE is an excellent material for an industrial pipe system and is the material from which Pipestock’s new range of valves are manufactured. The range includes the following:

  •     MDPE Ball Valve
  •     MDPE Ball Valve F Thread
  •     MDPE Ball Valve M Thread
  •     MDPE Double Check Valve
  •     MDPE Stopcock
  •     MDPE Stop Tap PE X Copper
  •     MDPE Butterfly Valve
  •     MDPE Ice Valve Thread
  •     MDPE Angle seat Valve M Thread
  •     MDPE Single Check Valve Thread

With these valves you can regulate, isolate or promote non-return flow and they are all available with discounts. The valves are easy to install and can be demounted for servicing. The MDPE ball Valve utilises a ball for controlling flow. The Check Valve allows flow in one direction and prevents it flowing back. The Double Check Valve is a non-return valve with two valves to ensure no back flow. The MDPE Butterfly Valve is used for isolation or regulating flow in large pipework.

Pipestock also stock Valve Boxes which are used to provide housing for valves in a pipework system which needs regular servicing. Customers can also find MDPE Female and Male Adaptors at Pipestock.com which can be useful in the installation of MDPE Valves. All the MDPE Valves are stocked by Pipestock and can be purchased today at discount.
