The Big Apple Indie Music Series aka TBAIMS Goes Global Within 7 Months of Its inception
New York, NY (PRWEB) August 12, 2013 -- http://www.tbaims.com
The conception by Jon Landers at Creative Group LLC to provide a venue for independent music artists to get the needed exposure for their talents with the music, entertainment, tv and film industry executives has become viral across the World Wide Web in just 7 short months. With adding Brian Jaccoma's TalentArmyPromotions.com as the vehicle for artists to submit their epk for consideration to perform at future events, TBAIMS is now getting more press and word of mouth buzz that has spread globally . "I'm getting submissions from all over the world on a daily basis now" said Jon just the other day, What started off as just a networking event for business professionals two years ago has turned into a much needed networking and music showcase where music artists can perform live in front of industry executives, then network and make new connections with each other. "Once an artist performs at one of my events, they become family with our organization and it is not a one night stand. I then add them to our Past Events page where we provide links to their music and social networking sites to continue to promote their music and future gigs. I am also working to collaborate with all the major music concert series across North America like SXSW, The Gathering of the Vibes and Popcorn to secure spots for the artists that have performed for us." And all Jon asks in return for having a music artist(s) perform at one of his events is to submit a review of their experience at the event that he posts on the Endorsement Page of his website. There isn't one bad review to date.
At June's event, Spacebar.com joined TBAIMS to offer their iPhone app that allowed each artist performing at the event to live stream their audio to their fan base globally. This brought the event to the next level of exposure to the music scene. In the past two events, TBAIMS was listened to by fans from Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, UK and many other countries.
On August 22nd, TBAIMS is going to provide another feature that will take them even further. Working with NYCLiveRock.com, TBAIMS will now be live streaming the event visually on the World Wide Web where any viewer from the comfort of their pc, mac, tablet or smart phone can interact with the event as it's happening in real time. And they will be having their event at The Cutting Room at 44 East 32nd Street while Gibson Studios goes under renovations.
To date, TBAIMS is fully booked until the end of the year and is now starting to book artists for 2014. In addition, TBAIMS is now looking at other venues to consider working with to keep it fresh and be able to include some of the public to participate at. It has plans to develop some concert series of it's own to promote the artists that have performed for them to date.
Another change in the format of TBAIMS' events is to have a different guest host to be the Master of Ceremonies at each event to give it some variety to match the variety of genres they bring to the events each month. For their August 22nd event they have invited Alysia Stern from The Rendezvous Show to host their event.
There's so much more that are in the plans to expand that TBAIMS is now in negotiations with major corporate sponsors that would like to come along for the ride to support the independent music artists.
"It's totally amazing, I'm now seeing anywhere from 3000 to just over 9000 mentions on my events in all of my social networking efforts from Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and LinkedIn each day! Yes, that's daily!", Jon said, "and I'm getting new followers on Twitter every day and being invited to join one's group on LInkedIn each day as well."
