Houston, TX (PRWEB) August 13, 2013 -- SaveOnBrew.Com, the world's only beer price-search engine, announced new features to their mobile apps designed to make the customer experience faster and easier.
"We'd like to think we're responsive to our customers," said founder Mark Davidson.
"As soon as we released version one of the apps, we were inundated with feature requests, some good, some a little whacky," said Davidson. "We took the best of the best, went back to the developers, and told them 'make it work.'"
The main new feature of the app, available on the Droid, iTunes, and Amazon marketplace, are numbered deal lists.
"What would happen is, in places with dense deals, customers were getting lost on the list." SaveOnBrew lists between 250,000 and 350,000 live advertised beer deals at any given moment and has posted more than 35 million beer deals over the past three years. "Our customers sometimes didn't know if they were near the top or the bottom, or how far they had to go to get to the bottom of the scrolling list."
The numbers, subtly inserted to the left of the deals, provides a visual reference that keeps the user oriented in the experience.
"We also created some new artwork to make it more apparent where the customer needed to click. We plan on adding new features to the applications over the next few months. If you've already downloaded any version of the app, you'll automatically receive new versions when they are released."
