Hamptons Real Estate Update: Bishops Pond Southampton Village, Fastest Selling New Luxury Lifestyle Neighborhood, Opens Serena & Lily Furnished Model Show Home
Southampton, New York (PRWEB) August 12, 2013 -- Bishops Pond Southampton Village (http://www.bishopspondsv.com, 140 Magee Street, Southampton, NY 11968, 631.283.2077) opens its newest model home designed by Mabley Handler Interior Design with furnishings and décor from aspirational lifestyle brand Serena & Lily, in what has become the fastest selling new lifestyle neighborhood in Hamptons luxury real estate.
In ten weeks since May, when the model homes opened for viewing, more than half of the planned development or 40 of the $839,000 to $3 million residences have sold. The crown jewel of the Beechwood Organization’s Premier Portfolio is a collection of 77 single-level villas and single-family townhomes with a private clubhouse, state-of-art-fitness center, tennis court and pond-side pool on 13-acres of prime East End property. First occupancy is expected autumn 2013.
“We had the right idea, at the right time and in the right place for both our buyers and for us. We’re in the midst of a market boom and baby boomers are at core of it,” says developer Steven Dubb of The Beechwood Organization.
TOWNHOMES FOR MULTI-GENERATIONAL LIVING
Bishops Pond was created with a vision of what today’s second homebuyer values first and foremost -- quality of life, family time and a helping hand. Empty nesters, multi-generational families and young professionals want less responsibility and more luxury services.
While the best construction with the finest finishes are a baseline for Hamptons living, buyers are motivated by not having to do the usual chores to maintain their home. Bishops Pond is turnkey or move-in-ready with five-star concierge services and all the benefits of a Southampton location.
The new model, like all the homes at Bishops Pond, is designed for multi-generational family living where all the clan can stay and play.
On the ground floor is an expansive great room opening to a flowing island gourmet kitchen. A master suite with luxury comforts is fit for couples who may opt to live on one level while the extended family may reign upstairs with open loft, junior master bed and bath, two additional bedrooms and a Jack and Jill bathroom.
For families who prefer all upper floor sleeping, another model adds a terrace and balcony atop and more floor living space on the ground. Each townhome, with around 3,000-square-feet of living space, may be enlarged by finishing full-size basements.
INTERIORS DESIGNED FOR COASTAL LIVING
The newest townhome is furnished by Hamptons design duo Mabley Handler (http://www.mableyhandler.com), who decorated all five model show homes, with furniture and décor from Serena & Lily (http://www.serenaandlily.com), the California-based lifestyle brand that opened is first retail store in Wainscott, NY in May 2013.
“For this sunny and spacious townhome, we created a distinct and inspirational beach house look. Fabrics, furniture and accessories are from one of our favorite vendors, Serena & Lily. Their products exude a calm, coastal feeling. The relaxed beach vibe features comfortable, clean-lined furnishings and colorful, playful patterns,” says interior designer Austin Handler.
Serena & Lily signature patterns and colors are shown throughout the new model home in a variety of blues, aquas and turquoises accented with natural fibers for the ultimate beach vibe. Featured are bedding, furniture, rugs, window coverings, lighting, bath, outdoor, paint and a newly launched wallpaper collection.
The other townhome décors show an elegant beach house design infused with a touch of sophistication; and an equestrian style-theme, referential to the local horse farms and famed Hamptons Classic. The villa décors showcase a classic estate-style Hamptons look with bright and vibrant colors; and a transitional Hamptons look with clean lines and eye-catching contemporary touches.
Each Bishops Pond interior is airy, open and dramatic with 9-to-12-foot-high ceilings, oversized windows, 4-inch wide solid hardwood stained oak floors, great rooms and fireplaces with marble surrounds. Open, island kitchens are a highlight. Cabinetry is custom and furniture-quality with marble, granite or solid surface countertops. Appliances are top-of-the-line with a Wolf six-burner range; Sub-Zero refrigerator; and Bosch dishwasher. Luxurious finishes extend to a five-piece designer spa bathroom with marble or porcelain floor, double sink vanities with marble tops, and oversized shower and soaking tub.
LUXE LANDSCAPING FRAMES THE HAMPTONS-STYLE SCENE
“In designing this luxury lifestyle community, we wanted to make a lasting first impression. We’ve labored to create a landscape befitting of Southampton Village. We want owners to be proud to come home to Bishops Pond with a beautiful vista that can be seen from their oversized windows too,” adds Steven Dubb.
Entering Bishops Pond, the view is one of attractive cedar-shingled-style homes spaced among rolling green lawns, clusters of trees and a pond complete with a beautiful stone bridge.
Architecture is classic Hamptons-style. Along with white cedar shingle sidings, homes have white columns, board and batten accents and red cedar shingle roofs. A Belgian block-lined driveway leads to each home’s single car garage. Danish brick with bluestone borders line front walkways and expansive rear patios.
Attention is given to every detail from start to finish in the most sought after new lifestyle neighborhood in the Hamptons.
