Aquatic – the leader in innovative and inspired bathware – today announced that its DriftBath and Starla hydrotherapy tubs have been named to this year’s “101 Best New Products” lists published by Professional Builder and Professional Remodeler, respectively.

These two leading trade magazines publish the lists annually in their August issues, based on editors’ rigorous evaluation of hundreds of recently introduced residential building products in 16 categories.

“Making these prestigious ‘best new products’ lists is truly an honor, given the huge volume of new building products introduced over the past year,” said Stacy Zar, Director of Marketing and New Product Development, Aquatic. “The awards are an affirmation that Aquatic continues to fulfill its mission of providing customers with the finest bathware available on the market today.”

Exclusive to Aquatic, DriftBath is an entirely new type of hydrotherapy system that expands the bathware category. It is the latest addition to Aquatic’s popular Serenity series, a collection of gentle and soothing bathing experiences including soakers, HotSoaks and air baths. DriftBath gives builders and homeowners a feature-rich option to standard soaking tubs and a tranquil alternative to whirlpools. It is ideal for the bather who wants simple and quiet hydrotherapy for floating away into restful relaxation.

The new system features more than 70 water-only ports in the backrest and foot areas of the bathing well. Each port individually releases a delicate ribbon of moving water that converges to create a blanket of water flowing in one direction. The result is a soft current that simulates the experience of sitting in a calm stream.

Part of Aquatic’s Builders’ Choice series, the Starla whirlpool tub offers a luxury upgrade option that doesn’t require any alteration to a small bathroom’s footprint – exactly what’s needed in today’s market for smaller homes. At 57” x 38” x 24”, Starla is Aquatic’s smallest, oval hydrotherapy tub but has been meticulously designed to provide as much bathing well space and luxury as the industry standard 60” x 42” master tub. For both new construction and renovation, Starla is perfect for the typical master bathroom with a side-by-side bath/shower configuration.
