The United States Geospatial Intelligence Foundation (USGIF) announced five new members to its Board of Directors. At its most recent meeting on June 19, the Board voted to add Dewey Houck, Dr. Keith Littlefield, Gabriela Maldonado, Jennifer Stansall and Jeffrey Tarr. With the addition of these five members, USGIF’s Board is now composed of 35 directors representing the many aspects of the GEOINT Community.
“We are very excited to add these bright minds to the Board, especially those representing the senior and young professionals of the community,” said USGIF Chairman of the Board and SAIC COO Stu Shea. “With the addition of these five brilliant professionals and their knowledgeable experience in the GEOINT field, the Board can continue to grow on discussing important issues affecting the GEOINT Community.”
Dewey Houck is vice president and general manager of Boeing’s Information Solutions branch. He is responsible for the company’s intelligence integration solutions, leading the implementation of information sharing technologies and development of information management components for more efficient intelligence planning and analysis.
Dr. Keith Littlefield is TASC’s chief technology officer, where he sets the direction for technology investments and establishes thought leadership for the technology base. He also oversees TASC’s independent research, development and technical fellow programs. Dr. Littlefield joined TASC from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, where he was formerly chief technology officer.
Gabriela Maldonado is a senior consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, supporting the firm’s geospatial analytics capability. She currently leads the GEOINT production for the Secretary of Homeland Security daily intelligence briefings, and provides GEOINT development expertise to homeland security mission partners. Ms. Maldonado is also an active member of USGIF’s Young Professionals Working Group.
Jennifer Stansall is a senior account manager at DigitalGlobe, where she is responsible for developing and managing the company’s Global Strategic Alliance partners in the commercial, defense and intelligence markets. She is also an active member of USGIF’s Young Professionals Working Group.
Jeffrey Tarr is president and CEO of DigitalGlobe. He has refocused the company’s strategic direction, positioning it for rapid growth and value creation. During his career, Tarr has held many leadership positions at some of the world’s leading information businesses, including president and COO of IHS, and chairman and CEO of Hoover’s.
