Christopher Ursin recently launched Trident Branding Group Inc. a boutique branding consultancy working across three key businesses: celebrity licensing, corporate brand licensing and celebrity endorsements.
Ursin is well entrenched in the entertainment industry and specializes in developing lifestyle brands for celebrities and music artists. For corporate brands TBG will develop, re-launch or enhance existing trademark licensing programs. TBG is uniquely equipped with the tools and connections to develop & leverage client’s brands into highly profitable licensing programs. Most recently Christopher Ursin was the Director of Consumer Products at Scholastic Inc. Previously Ursin was the Vice President of Brand Licensing for Brand Asset Group a Warner Music Group JV. In this role Ursin developed lifestyle licensing programs for music artists under WMG. Before joining WMG Ursin was the Director of Licensing at Marvel Entertainment. In this role he managed a $5 billion dollar licensing program that included the three films- Spiderman 3, Iron-Man and Hulk 2. Previous to Marvel Ursin worked for two licensing agencies working with iconic brands including Hummer, Corvette, Cadillac, Kawasaki, Hoover, Goodyear, Suave, Valvoline, Morton, Hawaiian Punch, Seven-Up, Dr Pepper, Crush, Maytag, Magic Chef, Admiral, Tyson, Lockheed Martin, Pez Candy, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, Budweiser and many others.
