US Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) to Implement D2 Interactive Multimedia Framework (DIF™) A Cloud-Based Online Training Solution
Somerset, NJ (PRWEB) August 13, 2013 -- Appliedinfo Partners, Inc. (AIP), through its D2 TEAM-Sim division, has recently been awarded a multi-year contract for an enterprise license agreement in support of The Army Distributed Learning Program (TADLP). This partnership provides the U.S. Army Schoolhouses, one of the largest training institutions in the world, with the capability to design and develop Distributed Learning (DL) content using D2 Interactive Multimedia Framework (DIF™), a cloud-based authoring environment. DIF™ is an intuitive, user-friendly and browser-based solution that enables the cataloging, maintenance and reuse of media assets for the updating of existing courses and creation of new courseware.
DIF™ allows seamless integration of images, video, 2D and 3D graphics, SWF, HTML5 interactivity, NGRAIN and UNITY game-based simulations along with previously developed content to create new courses. Content can be developed once, and published to multiple platforms, including desktop and mobile devices such as the iPhone, iPad, Android, and Windows devices.
“DIF™ provides the Army with a collaborative development and management framework. It is easy to use, focuses on reusable components and content is rapidly deployable to any device,” said John Lau, President, Appliedinfo Partners, Inc., “This technology will help the Army to produce computer based training better, faster and cheaper so that the DoD can train and protect our soldiers from harm’s way which results in more efficient mission success.”
