Lloyd Irvin Promotes Krystal Allen to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Blue Belt
Camp Springs, MD (PRWEB) August 19, 2013 -- Last week, Lloyd Irvin Martial Arts Academy saw a few new belts in the gym, among them Krystal Allen. Krystal was promoted to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) blue belt along with her teammates Ross Olexa and Jazmine Marable.
Master Lloyd Irvin was happy to promote Krystal, 20, to blue belt after the young lady proved her skill set through training, competition, and lots of hard work. Krystal has been training at Lloyd Irvin Martial Arts Academy since she was 8 years old, when she joined the youth program.
Krystal said of the promotion, “It was awesome. Team Lloyd Irvin is like a second family to me.”
Krystal currently works at Lloyd Irvin Martial Arts Academy as a summer camp counselor for the 3-4 year old kids. This is her sixth summer at the Academy and she says its “lots of fun working” there. Allen is a rising junior at St. Mary College where she is majoring in accounting.
