James R. Mesich’s Launches New Marketing Campaign for Fantasy Novel ‘blue Destiny’
Detroit (PRWEB) August 26, 2013 -- In his 2012 fantasy novel, “Blue Destiny” (published by iUniverse), which is getting a revived marketing push in 2013, author James R. Mesich transports readers to the 1870s, in a story about a mysterious blue amulet, a frightening premonition and one man’s perilous and desperate fight to save his brother’s soul.
Kyle sits down to join a late-night poker game after a long day of travel, and luck, it seems, is in his favor. He wins a blue amulet, but the prize changes his life forever. He sleeps restlessly that night, dreaming of a wolf attacking a village.
The next day, returning home, the amulet reveals its true nature, and Kyle is killed by an Indian medicine man who takes the amulet. Now Kyle’s brother Jessie must rely on his budding psychic powers and the ghosts of his brother and parents to combat the medicine man and his ancient magic to save his brother’s soul from eternal damnation.
An excerpt from “Blue Destiny”:
“The sergeant slowly turned to face the wolf that was growling from somewhere so deep inside of himself that his entire body shook as the sound met his vocal cords.
‘Ya come fer me, have ya?’ said the sergeant under his breath. As he said this to the wolf he looked into his face and saw that it had no eyes, just like the one that was in his dreams.”
