At Mobilize, we’ll hear from the voices disrupting the mobile sector and dig into some of the most promising technologies they’ve developed.
San Francisco, CA (PRWEB) August 13, 2013
GigaOM, a global technology media company, today announced headline speakers for Mobilize 2013. Now in its sixth year, Mobilize will examine the technical potential and business opportunities made possible by mobile innovation, particularly by the Internet of Things (IoT).
The IoT promises to network any number of devices, sensors and objects that were previously unconnected, but a lot big questions remain.
- How are these networks going to work, and are today's network technologies and communications standards up to the task?
- Who is going to collect, store and manage the data the IoT generates?
- With connected devices producing constant streams of information how can that data be filtered, organized and presented in a useful way?
Mobilize will address these questions to help attendees be better prepared for the opportunities and challenges of the IoT.
Representing hardware, software, carriers and consumers, speakers will debate the technologies and sectors primed for growth and disruption in the next 12-18 months. Speakers include:
- Glenn Lurie, AT&T
- Olof Schybergson, Fjord
- Eric Migicovsky, Pebble
- Dennis Miloseski, Samsung Design America
- Rich Miner, Google Ventures
- Todd Yellin, Netflix
- Alex Hawkinson, SmartThings
- Alan Dabbiere, Airwatch
- Paul Gaudio, Adidas
