Smart Sealed Partners with Conservation Services Group
Chicago, IL (PRWEB) August 15, 2013 -- Smart Sealed Insulation has been invited by Conservation Services Group (CSG), a U.S. leader in residential energy efficiency, to participate in a Chicagoland pilot program for in-home energy assessments. A part of the program includes a customized Home Energy Savings Report, developed by CSG, performed by Smart Sealed’s BPI-certified energy analysts.

Eligible customers who participate in the CSG program have the unique opportunity to see how simple an energy assessment can be. Within this partnership, a Smart Sealed analyst will visit a customer’s home to conduct the analysis necessary to prepare the Home Energy Report while also making small energy- and cost-saving improvements that immediately make a positive impact on a home’s energy use. These improvements may include adding up to 10 Energy Star CFL light bulbs, installing efficient faucet aerators and showerheads and installing hot and cold water pipe wraps.
Based on the findings of the Home Energy Report, customers may be eligible for a rebate incentive. Currently, that incentive is up to 50% off certain work, up to $1,250, when customers complete recommended energy-efficiency improvements like insulation and air sealing. Currently, the CSG program is limited to customers serviced by both Nicor and ComEd.
