Top Healthcare Talent, Companies and Brands to be Honored September 20th

With PM360’s 2013 Trailblazer Awards, we are honored to recognize the industry’s greatest achievements and the people and companies behind them

The finalists are in for the fifth-annual PM360 Trailblazer Awards. PM360, a leading health-marketing industry trade magazine, will honor the pharmaceutical industry’s most amazing innovators.

Established in 2009, the Trailblazer Awards are given to outstanding companies, marketers and brand managers representing top talent and brands.

This year more than 800 award applications were submitted. Award finalists, selected by the PM360 editorial board, represent the most forward-thinking leadership of their fields.

Finalists are acknowledged and winners honored during a special reception at Gotham Hall at 1356 Broadway in New York City on September 20th, 2013. The keynote speaker at this year’s gala is Matthew Zachary, the Founder/CEO of Stupid Cancer, a non-profit organization that empowers young adults affected by cancer through innovative and award-winning programs and services.

PM360 is also proud to announce that Dr. P. Roy Vagelos, the Retired Chairman of the Board and CEO of Merck and Current Chairman of the Board of Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, is the 2013 Lifetime Achievement Award Recipient.

“Roy Vagelos has a life-long history of both medical and business innovation, philanthropy and outstanding leadership,” explains Stashower. “Under his watch at Merck, he was responsible for launching the first statin, thereby greatly reducing worldwide cardiovascular incidents. He also brought an end to River Blindness and led Merck to its pinnacle of success, garnering the respect of its peers. Please join us in celebrating Roy Vagelos’ Lifetime of Achievement.”
