New York, NY (PRWEB) August 13, 2013 -- Tapad, the leader in cross-device marketing technology, today announced the appointment of Matthew Burgoon as Vice President of Operations with oversight of all Account operations for the company. He starts immediately and is based in New York.
Burgoon has more than ten years of experience in digital media operations. Most recently, he served as Senior Director of Optimization Management for the data-valuation platform Genome from Yahoo! (formerly Interclick). He was Interclick's VP of Account prior to their Yahoo! acquisition. While there, Burgoon was responsible for expanding the media operations team from three to 35 members across the country while increasing company revenue from $20-$305 million within four years. Prior to Interclick, Burgoon was a part of AOL’s original Data Targeting group and responsible for bringing demo targeting to the AIM Buddy List.
At Tapad, Burgoon is charged with scaling the Account group to expand with the company’s growing product suite and ensuring continued best-in-class client service and close alignment with Sales & Product teams. Campaign performance optimization also falls under his aegis at Tapad.
“Matt has deep insight into the digital media space and an excellent track record of building account operations that scale and perform,” said Are Traasdahl, Tapad CEO & Founder. “Given our extraordinary rate of growth, our processes and service levels need to keep pace while maintaining our exceptionally high standards, and Matt is perfectly suited to do just that. We're thrilled to have him on our team.”
Burgoon graduated from The Ohio State University with a dual degree in Management Information Systems and Marketing.
