Dallas-Based Park Cities Pet Sitter, Inc. Announces “SUV Stuff” Event at Pet Supplies Plus on Saturday, September 21st, 2013 as Part of Its Presents 4 Pets Supply Drive
Dallas, TX (PRWEB) August 13, 2013 -- Park Cities Pet Sitter, Inc. recently announced their participation in the NAPPS Presents 4 Pets supply donation drive that benefits the animal shelter community. Presents 4 Pets is a national campaign put on by the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters. It coincides with the Humane Society of the United States’ Animal Shelter Appreciation Week, which is observed November 3rd through 9th, 2013.
As part of Presents 4 Pets, Park Cities Pet Sitter is sponsoring an “SUV Stuff” on Saturday, September 21st from 11am-3pm at the Pet Supplies Plus location at 6060 E. Mockingbird Lane in Dallas. With the generous help of Sewell Infinity of Dallas, Park Cities Pet Sitter will have use of a brand new Sewell Infiniti Q56 sports utility vehicle at Pet Supplies Plus for the store’s customers to stuff with pet supply donations.
Park Cities Pet Sitter President Joette White was thrilled to learn Sewell Infiniti of Dallas would be willing to donate use of one of their new vehicles that day to help generate excitement about the pet supply donation drive. “We are so grateful that Sewell Infiniti of Dallas is willing to assist us with our Presents 4 Pets supply drive," said Ms. White. "Being able to park their brand new Q56 model SUV at the store entrance will definitely get people’s attention, and hopefully motivate the store’s shoppers to buy extra supplies that will help fill the SUV.”
Park Cities Pet Sitter volunteers will provide store shoppers a list of desired pet supplies to be donated as they arrive at Pet Supplies Plus on Mockingbird that day. While shoppers are not obligated to donate, Ms. White hopes that the excitement of having the brand new Sewell Infiniti of Dallas SUV parked near the front door, with representatives of the recipient organizations nearby promoting the good work they do, will inspire people to spend a little bit extra on their shopping visit.
“Our Presents 4 Pets recipient organizations, the Humane Society of Dallas County and Big Fix for Big D, are wonderful charities that work tirelessly to find homes for unwanted cats and dogs, and to eradicate pet overpopulation by offering free spay and neuter services," says Ms. White. "What they do is incredibly important for our community, and we are honored to be able to donate some of our time to help them by putting on this supply drive.”
The Humane Society of Dallas County will also have many of the shelter’s adoptable dogs on site to help generate interest and excitement in the supply drive. Shoppers and passers-by will be encouraged to meet the adoptable animals, as well as donate supplies, as they come to shop at the store.
