Bambu, the renowned San Francisco Bay Area Vietnamese dessert & drink shoppe chain, announced the grand opening of its third store in Texas. “Texans have been demanding for more chè and we are happy to oblige,” said Kelly Nguyen, co-founder and CEO of Bambu Desserts & Drinks, Inc. “With that said, we will be welcoming our second Houston shoppe to our growing Bambu family.”

“Earlier this year, my family and I learned about Bambu from a friend and Bambu shoppe owner,” said Meng Tjoa, co-owner of Bambu-Willow Plaza. “From the moment she told us about it and the pictures we saw, we knew we wanted a Bambu of our very own. Now three months later, it is a reality.”

Bambu-Willow Plaza is located next to the Hung Dong 2 Market at 13411 Tomball Parkway #6, Houston, Texas. Their grand opening took place this past Saturday, August 10th. “We extend an invitation to all our family, friends and community to come join us for the celebration,” said Quyenthu Nguyen, co-owner of Bambu Willow Plaza. “After months of planning, it was great to share Bambu’s unique experience with our community, so they can enjoy Bambu desserts and drinks as much as we do.”

“With a strong commitment to the brand, the Bambu-Willow Plaza owners have been dedicated to refining their skills upon their return from training,” continued Kelly. “My sister and I are ecstatic that chèmania continues to grow along with the love of Bambu.”

Bambu Desserts & Drinks, Inc. was founded in 2008 by four sisters in San Jose, California. With twenty-one new shoppes opening in the past 18 months, Bambu has become quickly known for its fresh, healthy and colorful Vietnamese-inspired chè, unique milk teas, Vietnamese espressos, blended coffees, and exotic smoothies. The menu has nearly 100 desserts, coffees, teas and drinks to select from, but you can order any item “just the way you love it” at no extra charge including extra jellies, pearls, or shots of espresso.
