Brazilian Day San Diego welcomes SDG&E as a sponsor for its annual street fair and parade, which takes place on September 8, 2013 this year.

Brazilian Day San Diego is excited to welcome San Diego Gas & Electric as a proud sponsor of its annual parade and street fair. This year the festive event will take place on Sunday, September 8, 2013 at Garnet Avenue Pacific Beach from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Others sponsors include Coca-Cola, Sound Solutions, San Diego County, and the City of San Diego.

The Brazilian festival seeks to educate the public regarding the Brazilian culture with stage performances, programs, shows and musical entertainment among others. The festive celebration of the Brazilian culture is attended by over 60,000 local residents and is usually covered by major media sources such as NBC San Diego, FOX, KUSI, Telemundo , MyTV13, UT San Diego, Univision, DiscoverSD, Brazil Explore, Pacific Magazine, SanDiegoVIPS, Soul Brasil & many more.

The popular event will feature a gala parade with decorative floats, community performances and workshops for attendees. Additionally, the Brazilian Day San Diego Street Fair and Parade promotes the study of Capoeira, Brazilian Dance & Percussion for all ages. Vendor and exhibitor booths are available for those wishing to sell food, drinks, handmade crafts, and other goods and services.

Founder and organizer, Paulo Lima had this to say, “We are thrilled to have the great folks at San Diego Gas & Electric join us as a sponsor. We’re expecting a huge turn-out this year and look forward to making many new friends during the event.”

Brazilian Day San Diego is the largest Brazilian event on the West Coast and receives major social media exposure with over 50,000+ Facebook Fans. It is a non-profit event and all sponsorships are tax deductible. Just a few of the vendors who have already signed up for the Brazilian Festival include New York Life, Pacific Beach Bar & Grill, Wyndam Garden, Rei de Gado Brazilian Steakhouse, and UC San Diego Recreation.

Sponsorship packages are still available and offer sponsors a unique opportunity to increase brand awareness and exposure. The event provides an extensive media campaign that features email marketing, radio and TV ads, social media marketing and a number of other marketing outreaches.

Parade floats will be dressed with banners that include the names of all event sponsors. A sponsorship package also includes premium booth space during the event, company logo on the stage backdrop, company logo on event tee shirts, and company logo on the step and repeat banner. Admission is free to all.

About the Brazilian Days San Diego Festival
The Brazilian Days San Diego Festival will take place on September 8th, 2013 and will be held from 11 a.m. till 7 p.m. All proceedings will be held on Garnet Avenue at Pacific Beach and admission is free. This is a family friendly event that will not sell alcohol. Event promoters are offering three levels of sponsorship: Title Sponsor, Gold Sponsor, and Silver Sponsor. They are also offering exhibitor booths for artisans and local businesses who have a product or service to sell.
