McLean, VA (PRWEB) August 15, 2013
ControlCase, a leading global provider of Compliance as a Service, Certifications, and IT Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) software has announced that they will be hosting two conferences this year centered around the theme of Compliance – “a 360-degree view.” Both conferences will focus on minimizing the risk and legal liabilities of weak security and are expected to attract representatives from ControlCase’s 400+ customers, partners and other interested parties. Dates for this year are as follows:
Washington, DC, USA – October 17 – 18, 2013
Phuket, Thailand – November 28 – 29, 2013
Compliance - “a 360-degree view” will build on issues explored at last year's conference, where 83%of the participants said they expected compliance to become more difficult and costly to achieve.
The conferences come at a particularly interesting time, with the first draft of PCI DSS Version 3.0 expected to be released in October 2013. According to ControlCase CEO Kishor Vaswani, “The ControlCase conferences will provide insight on how compliance professionals can diversify their roles and develop their skills to bring optimum value to their organizations. It is increasingly necessary for companies to consider their compliance infrastructure and PCI scope instead of just accepting what was used in previous years. The 2013 conferences will offer fantastic opportunities to discuss current issues and innovations.”
This year’s exciting program will begin with sessions on Unified Compliance and Cloud Security and will also feature sessions on the following topics:
- Latest Compliance and Risk issues – including compliance for smart-phones and wearable computers
- Latest Industry News - Including the latest in P2PE and other PCI DSS version 3.0 changes
- Learn from the experts – Leading experts will provide best practices to keep compliance plans on the cutting edge.
- Peer group networking – Opportunities to discuss detailed strategies and tactics with peers.
To further emphasize the company's commitment to offering the highest standard of service, the ControlCase Project Management Office (PMO) will host an interactive session on Strategies for Producing an Efficient Compliance Plan. According to ControlCase AVP, PMO, Neelam Patel, “This session will highlight the company's core values in an effort to foster deeper partnerships and greater understanding of clients' businesses.”
There is no cost to attend either of the ControlCase conferences. Registration for each event is limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis. For more information and to register, please contact ksimon(at)controlcase(dot)com
