We specifically designed High Noon 2 for mobile devices. We wanted players to feel like their device was an extension of the gameplay, whether they were holstering or reloading their weapon, and I think we’ve successfully achieved that.

Happylatte, the makers of the hit iOS game High Noon, recently released the visually stunning and even more badass sequel High Noon 2 for iOS and Android.
High Noon, an iOS cult classic with over 12 million downloads and a hardcore fan base, is a Wild West sharpshooter game. Set in the same High Noon Gulch, High Noon 2 brings cowboys and cowgirls from all over the world to face off in one-on-one gun fights, using their phone as their weapon to holster, aim, and reload. Winning duels increases the bounty on a player’s head, bringing them closer to being the Most Wanted cowboy in the game. At the same time, players collect a silver bounty on the opponents they defeat with which they can upgrade guns from the Gun Shop and buy new outfits from the Western Wear store.
“Because the original is such a classic, we were faced with the challenge of how to take things to the next level in a way that was worthy of our fan base,” says Oli Bulloss, Senior Product Manager at Happylatte. “We decided to move the game to a 3D engine, which was a first for us and made for a steep learning curve, but we’re really driven to make High Noon 2 a great game.”
The sequel High Noon 2 features high-res 3D graphics and new animated cowboy and cowgirl characters with theatrical expressions. With the game’s outlandish characters and incredible graphics already in place, Happylatte has set the stage for new items, features, and gameplay to be added in the near future.
The release of High Noon 2 marks a major milestone for Happylatte as iOS and Android players will now be able to play the game cross-platform. “What’s exciting about this sequel is that players can now challenge anyone around the world, whether they’re on iOS or Android,” says Happylatte CEO Bjørn Stabell. “We specifically designed High Noon 2 for mobile devices. We wanted players to feel like their device was an extension of the gameplay, whether they were holstering or reloading their weapon, and I think we’ve successfully achieved that.”
High Noon 2 is free to play and available now on both Android and iOS. Device requirements on iOS include iPhone 4S, iPhone 5, iPad 2, and iPod Touch 5. The original High Noon game was the #1 top grossing app in 20 countries and has been downloaded more than 12 million times. Download High Noon 2 now on the iTunes App Store or the Google Play Store.
