In its second season of NYFW events, this year’s Shoe Week™ focuses on heels and sneakers as they apply to the 5 Senses of Style by partnering with designer shoe brands, fashion designers, accessories, retailers and of course – the senses! Throughout its NYFW events, attendees including fashion influencers, fashion industry members, personalities and digital influencers will be invited to events which showcase the pairings of shoes as they are aligned with lingerie, florals, savory, apparel and more. Shoe Week kicks off its second season, September 5th – 12th, 2013 during Spring/Summer 2014 New York Fashion Week.
"Last year’s launch during NYFW was an exciting foundation to create a number of luxury shoe presentations. This season, Shoe Week will present another amazing series, featuring designers, shoe boutiques and related fashion brands by incorporating the senses," explained Co-Founder/Creative Director and Accessories Expert, Kimmie Smith. "Shoes do more than complete an outfit, they are a part of a moment and a feeling which we will convey throughout these season’s events through our luxury collaborations."
Shoe Week's signature events this season include:
Kicking off our lifestyle pairings and sensory focus for this season, we will have a launch party on the eve of NYFW with Angelica Flowers and Events, known as one of the top florists for the fashion industry, with such clients as Vogue Magazine, Dior, and Cosmopolitan Magazine. This event will launch our week-long window display at Angelica Flowers with SCHEÉ shoes’ "65 Roses" collection, which benefits Cystic Fibrosis. Those passing the West Village floral shop will be able to participate by engaging with the windows through their social networks throughout the week.

Shoe Week is also partnering with fashion designer and collection Von Vonni, with its famed Transformer Dress in an array of hues with shoes and Seagrams Escapes.
Shoe Week and Soho’s exclusive shoe destination Ruia will showcase a number of its coveted European designers. Attendees will have the opportunity to shop from select luxury brands at special priced offerings.
In partnership with Sugar Cookies, am intimate lingerie boutique in Chelsea, Shoe Week will present key lingerie looks with fabulous heels. Attendees will enjoy bubbly and have the opportunity to shop some of their favorite looks with promotional offers available for the event.
One of our closing Shoe Week events this season will include our Style Tweetup social influencer themed party Pampered Pedis at Fix Beauty Bar. This special affair allows hand-picked editors to fancy shoes while enjoying relaxing elements over pedis and sharing products and experiences with their social networks. Additional events continue to be added to the calendar.
