XD Bridge Cross Domain Solution from Tresys Added to UCDMO Baseline
Columbia, MD (PRWEB) August 16, 2013 -- Tresys Technology, a leading provider of cyber defense technology and engineering services to our nation’s defense and critical infrastructure organizations, announced today that their XD Bridge 3.0 Cross Domain Solution (CDS) has been placed on the Unified Cross Domain Management Office (UCDMO) Baseline. The UCDMO Baseline is a validated list of cross domain solutions that are available to agencies in the US Department of Defense and the Intelligence Community. For a technology solution to be added to the UCDMO Baseline, a government sponsor must submit certain information and test evidence to the UCDMO for review and approval.
XD Bridge offers a novel approach to solving cross domain information transfer problems that delivers unmatched flexibility, low cost, and high performance. The XD Bridge architecture enables a single platform to support a wide range of CDS transfer and access applications, including the rapid development of custom filtering components. The result is a CDS that directly addresses the evolving needs of CDS users with requirements for edge-of-network or program specific traffic.
Robert Stalick, Tresys CEO, notes, “For many years, Tresys has been hired by other CDS vendors to assist them in porting their CDS to security enhanced Linux (SELinux), helping them lock down their CDS to meet government regulation, and providing testing and evaluation criteria support. We knew there was always a better way to build a sound platform that was more adaptable to mission requirements, could provide faster performance with lower latency, and could be offered at prices much lower than what is on today’s market. XD Bridge is that product.”
Tresys offers XD Bridge in various form factors: enterprise, tactical and mini to serve various implementations including critical infrastructure, unmanned platform, and datacenter. For more
