Cardno's Americas Region Adds New Chief Financial Officer, Michael Landry

New executive role to provide direction for newly reorganized internal structure

Engineering and environmental consulting firm Cardno recently hired Michael Landry to fill a new Chief Financial Officer position within their flourishing Americas Region. Mr. Landry will direct and coordinate financial, legal and information technology functions for Cardno’s Americas Region, which encompasses operations across Canada, the United States and Latin America.

Mr. Landry brings with him 24 years of experience, including working as an investment banker and as a senior executive with CH2M Hill and The Shaw Group. He has extensive international experience and a strong operational focus on cash flow generation, risk management, budget development, financial forecasting and capital structuring. His expertise in evaluating, documenting and executing complex mergers and acquisitions (M&A), joint-venture and cross-border transactions, debt and equity financings and restructurings will help enhance Cardno’s abilities in these arenas.

Mr. Landry’s experience will provide Cardno with invaluable insight and direction as they continue to grow through strategic mergers and organic growth. Cardno’s focus on expanding into new geographic markets and strategic service areas complements Mr. Landry’s ability to build a strong financial platform while creating a client-focused culture.

Mr. Landry received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Louisiana State University and a Master of International Management degree from the Thunderbird School of Global Management. He recently relocated from Denver, CO, to Lake Oswego, OR, to work from the Cardno’s American headquarters in Portland, OR.
