108th CACP Conference in Winnipeg is First Stop on Mobile Innovations 2103 Tour in a Dodge Enforcer with Mobile Office Featuring Nexus10 Android Tablet and Nuance Dragon
Toronto, Canada (PRWEB) August 16, 2013 -- Behind the wheel of a fully upfitted Dodge Charger, Mobile Innovations President and founder Gary Bauer, announced the kick-off of the Mobile Innovations “Goin’ Mobile Tour 2013” today. The tour will see trade show appearances and drive-up demos of the company’s mobile office solution in an active duty Dodge Charger across Canada and the United States.
With a Google Nexus 10 Android tablet working as a touch screen and heads-up display connected to the BlackBerry on the driver’s hip, MPA In-Vehicle Office enables secure operation of a license scanner, printer, keyboard and webcam. The MPA mobile office solution also features Nuance Dragon Naturally Speaking for easy, accurate reports and witness statements from the field. All components are air-bag safety compliant.
From its starting point in Toronto, Ontario, the Mobile Innovations mobile office will make its way to an inaugural highlight appearance in Winnipeg on August 19th, at BlackBerry’s CACP Conference exhibit at the Winnipeg Conference Centre. From there Bauer and Paul Grierson from D & R Electronics – the company that performed the physical upfit of the Dodge Enforcer – will attend to a series of meetings and demos in Kansas City, Missouri. The tour will conclude with another trade show appearance at the International Chiefs of Police Conference (IACP) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 21st.
“We thrilled to be able to show law enforcement professionals how easy it can be for officers to get RMS and CAD data with the swipe of a screen, as well as print tickets, file reports and record witness statements while on the scene, in a fraction of the time it would take them to do things manually or back at the station,” explains Bauer. “The Nexus 10 tablet and Nuance Dragon Naturally Speaking integration are huge productivity boosters for our MPA In-Vehicle Office users.”
The MPA In-Vehicle Office upfit for any vehicle can be carried out by a trained fitter in a few hours. Excluding labor costs, the price for an upfit with all hardware and software required for a fully functional mobile office ranges from $1000 to $2500 depending on options selected.
