Sign in Facebook Proxy List Is Best Way to Unblock Facebook, Says idcloak
Dallas, Texas (PRWEB) August 16, 2013 -- idcloak launches a free Sign in Facebook proxy list especially for users whose access to the social media site is blocked. The live list contains IP addresses of proxy servers around the world which can be entered into a browser’s network settings. From that point on, the browser will only access Facebook through a remote server based outside the reaches of the content filtering or blocking systems.
"We’ve tried a number of proxy solutions to the unblock Facebook problem," says idcloak’s web researcher, Robin Welles. "Apart from a paid VPN with dedicated IP address, an IP proxy is the only technology that works really well."
"We selected only low anonymity IP proxies so Facebook still sees the user’s IP geolocation and doesn’t wave a red security flag each time you come in from a new location. The servers also use encrypted HTTPS protocol so the unblocking is kept discrete from those blocking the site."
Excellent compatibility with Facebook is another big advantage of IP proxy technology, says Welles. "These IP proxies display Facebook in full, with no loss of functionality. That’s a big step up from website-based proxies which at best will get you access to the mobile version of Facebook."
With the year-on-year increase in smartphone access to Facebook, the question of whether these proxies are usable on mobile devices naturally arises. "Not all browsers and platforms make proxy configuration easy," says Welles, "but following our tests, Opera Mobile Classic on Android works just fine; I now have that browser permanently set up on my phone to connect through the US."
An accompanying link to the proxy list FAQs explains how this configuration is set up on your Android phone.
