CKR Interactive Expert to Speak about Visual Communication at the NACE Social Media Mashup

Kasey Sixt will hold an informative session about how employers are leveraging visual communication online to connect with candidates.

Global recruitment marketing agency, CKR Interactive (http://www.ckrinteractive.com), announced that Kasey Sixt, vice president of emerging media, will be speaking at the NACE Social Media Mashup about the use of visual communication by employers on the internet.

This is the second Social Media Mashup conference of the year, the first was held in Philadelphia in January. The conference is on August 22-23, 2013, at the Hyatt in San Jose, Calif. This conference brings attendees the latest trends in social media from some of the largest leaders in the industry such as Google, eBay, Brazen Careerist and more.

Sixt has previously spoken at NACE conferences including the 2013 NACE Conference and Expo in June, but this is her first time speaking at the NACE Social Media Mashup. Sixt's session, "Show and Tell! How Employers Use Visual Communication on the Personal, Portable Web," will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013 from 8:30 am to 9:30 am.

Sixt's session will dive into the world of social media as a strategy for employers to connect emotionally with potential candidates. In the past, video and compelling imagery were not common to find online. But now, these tools are used as a window into the employer's world, giving candidates a first-hand look at an organization, inspiring job seekers to take action.

"Compelling and sharable visual content offers a window into any organization's inner world and the click-throughs on photos and video content are often much higher than text," says Sixt.
