Utah Company Launches Venture Program to Help Entrepreneurs and VC’s
American Fork, Utah (PRWEB) August 18, 2013 -- Decisions, creators of The Workflow Automation Platform, has launched a promising new program that will provide entrepreneurs who want to build on the Platform a way to connect with funding opportunities. The Decisions Technology Venture Program, or DTVP, is a network of VCs and angel investors who want a unique source of technology deal flow.
“Many entrepreneurs are looking for technical co-founders. Decisions can play a variety of roles in that process that help entrepreneurs reduce technical risk, and focus on the market opportunity,” says Duane Newman, CEO of Decisions.
Decisions provides integrated software solutions to a wide range of companies, from venture-backed startups to some of the largest privately-owned software companies and Fortune 500 companies. The idea for DTVP surfaced when Decisions found that many of the technology startups they supported, across North America and abroad, were seeking additional funding opportunities. Decisions hopes to add value to their relationship with both startups and venture firms through this innovative initiative. New types of venture programs have begun to emerge in recent years, and Decisions plans to make DTVP part of that trend.
Kevin Lindquist, Head of Marketing at Decisions provides, “We believe investors will find that deals sourced through this program will carry a lower technology risk profile than many other software deals due to the extensive feature set of the Platform, and the expertise that we provide to our clients who are using the platform to create new Web 3.0 solutions.”
Decisions is a graphically configurable workflow automation platform that gives users the ability to both create new, and enhance existing applications. The Decisions team has been working together for over a decade delivering an experience that gives more control and configuration ability to administrators. Specifically, the platform allows for the creation of applications that can be configured by non-programmers in a way that is safe, visible, and flexible. This mission has driven the Decisions team to create numerous technologies in use today at some of the world's largest and most innovative companies. For more information, visit Decisions.com.
